According to Midrag, a Friday-Saturday call-out costs ₪455 to ₪615, nearly double a midweek one (₪263 to ₪340). Before you book on Shabbat: ☐ Ask on the phone for the total price, not just the call-out fee. ☐ Ask whether the call-out fee is absorbed into the job price. ☐ If there is no flooding or active leak, shut the main valve and wait for Sunday: that saves the whole surcharge.
