Before you book on Shabbat: ☐ Ask on the phone for the total price, not just the call-out fee. ☐ Ask whether the call-out fee is absorbed into the job price. ☐ If there is no flooding or active leak, shut the main valve and wait for Sunday: that saves the whole surcharge.
