Description

Backend Engineer for ML Platform at Lemonade will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that enables our data scientists to deploy AI models across all parts of the business. The next generation of insurance is being built with AI at its core, and we're looking for someone with 3+ years of experience building large-scale production systems, who knows Python and definitely has deep knowledge of ML engineering - from training through deployment and real-time monitoring. Must be familiar with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and relational and NoSQL databases, and it's important that you have genuine curiosity about GenAI, LLMs, and AI agents with an understanding of RAG and embeddings. We value someone who can move quickly without sacrificing quality, with a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
