Description
Senior Backend Engineer in the Routing team at Via, responsible for designing and building powerful backend systems that manage large-scale geospatial data, including data pipelines in Python, databases in PostgreSQL and PostGIS, and API services for GIS and mapping products. Required: 6+ years of backend development experience, with strong knowledge of distributed production systems, databases and performance management, and preferably proficiency in Python in production and geospatial environments. A senior role that includes end-to-end ownership of features, improving system reliability and mentoring additional engineers.
