Senior Backend Engineer to join the Billing Platform team at Pango, managing complex billing infrastructure that processes transactions worth billions of shekels annually. The position requires a minimum of three years of experience in complex backend development in C# or Python with deep knowledge of distributed architectures, message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, and data-intensive systems. The candidate must have the ability to learn complex systems quickly, design scalable systems while implementing OOP principles, and work with relational and NoSQL databases. Significant advantages: experience in the payments or financial systems domain, mastery of serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, and practical knowledge of AI and modern tools.
