Lead Engineer
Description
Lead Engineer at Nominal will work on building an innovative financial operational system that combines big data and AI to transform the ERP field. You will own complex problems at the infrastructure, architecture, and data pipelines level, develop advanced backend systems, and work with generative AI to automate complex workflows. Required: 7+ years of experience building distributed systems in production, strong background in DB architecture and SQL, and experience developing SaaS microservices in the cloud (Python, AWS, Kafka). You must have an entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to connect technical decisions to business impact, and direct engagement with founders and VP Engineering on strategic initiatives.
