Empathy is seeking a senior engineer for full stack mobile development to build a platform that helps people through difficult conversations in life — through support in therapy, future planning, and grief acceptance. This role includes work on React Native applications, backend services, and integration between complex end-to-end systems. Required: 7+ years of experience in production software development, at least 3+ years with React Native, and a strong background in TypeScript, Node.js, and REST/GraphQL. The engineer must demonstrate system design skills, mentoring of additional engineers, and the ability to translate complex problems into scalable and maintainable solutions.
