Cross River builds global financial infrastructure, and we're looking for a Staff Software Engineer to serve as a senior technical leader without people management responsibilities. Your role will be to define the architectural direction for multiple teams, make complex design decisions, and raise the level of quality and security in a managed financial environment. Required: 8+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems, deep expertise in .NET or C#, and the ability to provide technical leadership across multiple teams without formal authority. You are expected to be hands-on — writing code, sharing knowledge, and mentoring junior engineers, while maintaining high standards in the financial domain.
