Description
A Senior/Staff Physical Design Engineer at Astera Labs will be responsible for the physical implementation of advanced interconnect chips for high-performance AI infrastructure. The role includes full management of the RTL2GDS flow, from synthesis and floorplanning through signoff and physical verification, with emphasis on macro-level implementation and complex routing in advanced process nodes. Required: 3+ years of experience in physical design at semiconductor companies, proficiency in TCL or Python, and deep knowledge of tools such as STA, LEC, DRC, and EMIR. This is a unique opportunity to help establish an R&D center and create new execution culture and technical standards in Israel.
