We are seeking a Senior Research professional in the field of Data Science to join Honeycomb's AI team, which is responsible for underwriting decisions and insurance portfolio analysis. In this role, you will lead end-to-end research directions — from defining a business problem to deploying a model in production, working with complex datasets in the real world of commercial real estate insurance. The candidate must hold a Master's degree or PhD in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field, with proven experience driving original research from all angles in an academic or industry background. Also required: experience deploying models to production, deep mathematical problem-solving ability, and the ability to manage research directions independently.
