Description
A moving evening in preparation for the High Holy Days at the Lazaros Community Center, opening with discussion circles on the topics of selichot (penitential prayers), contemplation, and self-reckoning. The evening will continue with a selichot and liturgical poetry performance accompanied by a musical ensemble and paytanim (liturgical poets), who will sing together songs such as "Adon HaSelichot" and "Ana B'Koach". The event takes place in collaboration with the Torah Study Group, on Wednesday, September 2nd at 19:00. Entrance to the event is free.
