Rocky's story went viral on the internet. He was hit and waited for help for 3 days. Rocky's spinal fracture was severe and complex, and he required implantation of a special plate that was ordered specifically for him. After surgery, Rocky remained hospitalized for about 10 more days of nerve-wracking waiting, during which we waited and prayed that the surgery went well and that Rocky's weak and exhausted body would succeed in overcoming the trauma.
