Price Ranges for TV Mounting (September 2026)

• Screen up to about 60", fixed mount: ₪200-350 labor • 70-75"+ screen: add ₪50-100 • Full-motion mount (pulls out and swivels): add ₪50-100 • Ceiling mount or drywall niche: add ₪50-100 • Handyman minimum call-out: ₪200-250, even for a short job • Fixed mount (to buy): ₪80-180 • Full-motion mount (to buy): ₪380-600 • Wall chasing to hide cables: ₪350-590 Three price lists, three viewpoints. Midrag puts a screen up to 60" at ₪200-250. Pro.co.il quotes ₪250-300 (average ₪276) and says its prices include VAT. Handyman Plus, in a list updated September 2026, quotes ₪250-350 before VAT, about ₪295-413 after 18%. So ask every installer whether the price includes VAT. Deals reported on Midrag: 50" on a drywall wall ₪200; 75" on a block wall ₪350; installation on an arm ₪350; two TVs ₪300; ceiling mount ₪300.

The Mount Is Bought Separately: What It Costs and Which to Choose

Most quotes cover labor only. Pro.co.il says so explicitly: the price covers only the work, not the mount. Midrag estimates a standard mount at ₪150-200, but the gap between types is wider than that. At Barkan's official store (checked 26.9.2026, including sale prices): • Fixed, flush-to-wall mount: ₪80-180. The cheapest and most stable; the screen sits a few centimetres off the wall. • Tilting mount: about ₪180. Angles the screen down when it hangs high. • Full-motion (double-arm) mount: ₪380-600. Pulls the screen off the wall and swivels it, for a corner or an open-plan room. • Ceiling mount: ₪179-290. Check that the mount is rated for your screen's size and weight and matches the screw pattern on its back (VESA). An installer who brings their own mount will charge for it, so ask for two prices: with the mount and without.

Concrete, Block or Drywall: Where the Price Lists Disagree

There is no single answer to whether the wall type raises the price, and we are not inventing one: • Midrag says the wall type is "not expected to affect" the price. • Pro.co.il says a concrete wall raises the price by at least 30%. • Handyman Plus charges extra for drywall instead: ₪50-100. What is clear: drywall needs anchors rated for the weight, or a metal stud inside the wall, especially with a full-motion arm that levers against its anchor points. Concrete and safe-room (mamad) walls are harder to drill. Tell the installer which wall it is in advance, and ask for a final price that already accounts for it.

Hiding the Cables: External Channel or Wall Chasing

Two ways, with a big price gap: • External surface channel: the cheap, quick option, with no dust and no plaster. It can be painted the wall colour. Some installers add it for a few dozen shekels, but we found no price list with a fixed figure for it, so ask in advance. • Wall chasing: per Renovations Israel, chasing a wall to hide cables costs ₪350-550 and chasing for a TV ₪390-590. Afterwards the channel has to be closed, plastered and painted; ask whether that is included. If you need a new power outlet behind the screen, that is a job for a licensed electrician, not a handyman. Calliber puts a complex installation, with drywall preparation, cable channels and a full-motion arm, at ₪500 and up.

How to Save

• Bundle jobs into one visit: the minimum call-out (₪200-250) is paid once, so shelves, pictures or a second TV on the same visit cost far less. Midrag has a reported deal of ₪300 for mounting two TVs. • Buy the mount yourself, after checking it matches the VESA pattern and weight. • A fixed mount is enough when the sofa faces the wall. A full-motion arm is worth the difference only if you will actually move the screen. • An external channel instead of chasing saves a few hundred shekels and a day of dust.

Checklist Before Booking

☐ Ask whether the price includes the mount, and if not, what the installer charges for one. ☐ Ask whether the price includes VAT. ☐ Say in advance what the wall is (concrete, block, drywall, safe room) and get a price that includes it. ☐ If you want the cables hidden, get a separate price for a channel or for chasing, including closing and paint. ☐ For 70"+ screens, confirm two people are coming. ☐ Get a final written price before work begins.

FAQ

How much does it cost to mount a TV?

As of September 2026, ₪200-350 in labor for a screen up to about 60" on a fixed mount. A 70"+ screen, a full-motion mount or a ceiling each add ₪50-100. The mount itself is bought separately.

Does the TV mounting price include the mount?

In most cases no, the price is for labor only. A fixed mount costs ₪80-180 and a full-motion mount ₪380-600 (Barkan store, September 2026). Confirm before booking.

Is mounting on a concrete wall more expensive?

The price lists disagree: Midrag says wall type is not expected to matter, Pro.co.il says concrete adds at least 30%, and Handyman Plus adds ₪50-100 for drywall instead. Tell the installer about the wall and ask for a final price.

How much does it cost to hide TV cables?

Chasing the wall costs ₪350-590 per Renovations Israel, and it then needs plaster and paint. An external channel is much cheaper, but price lists give it no fixed figure; ask in advance.

How much does it cost to mount a 75" TV?

Usually ₪250-450 in labor: the base price plus ₪50-100 for a large screen. Midrag has a reported deal of ₪350 for a 75" screen on a block wall. For a screen that size, two people should come.
