Cookie Policy

This policy describes how Shukshuk (shukshuk.co.il, "the Site") uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy and should be read together with it.

1. What are cookies?

2. Strictly-necessary cookies

These are essential for the Site to operate and do not require separate consent:

• Authentication cookie: set after you sign in with your Google account, keeping you signed in across pages and visits so you do not need to re-authenticate on every action.
• Security cookies: help prevent CSRF attacks and validate authenticated requests (for example a CSRF token).

Without these cookies you cannot sign in to your account or perform authenticated actions.

3. Analytics cookies (with your consent)

To understand how visitors use the Site and to improve it, we use Microsoft Clarity — a Microsoft service for session replay and heatmaps. It lets us see how a typical visit flows, where users get stuck, and which parts are unclear.

• Consent-gated: Clarity loads only after you accept the cookie banner. If you choose "No thanks", it is never loaded and sets no cookies at all.
• PII is masked: what you type in chat and address fields is masked and never recorded. The recording captures navigation and interaction, not the text content you enter.
• Changing your mind: you can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's cookies and local storage in your browser (see section 5); you will then be asked for consent again.

4. What we do not use

For the avoidance of doubt, as of the date of this policy the Site does not use:

• Marketing or remarketing cookies (e.g. Facebook Pixel, Google Ads).
• Advertising profiles or advertising-identifier matching.
• Sale or transfer of browsing data to third parties for advertising.

5. Managing cookies in your browser

You can block or delete cookies at any time via your browser settings. Most browsers let you choose which cookies to allow and let you delete existing ones. The exact steps differ by browser — see your browser's help center (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.) for instructions on managing cookies.

Note: blocking the strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or using parts of the Site that require authentication.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If our cookie use materially changes (for example, if we add further analytics or third-party cookies), we will update the date at the top of this page and, where required, ask for your consent again before any new cookies are set on your device.
