The gap between gross and net consists of three mandatory deductions, income tax, National Insurance and health tax: plus the employee pension contribution. This calculator estimates using 2026 parameters for a salaried Israeli resident.
How net is calculated
Income tax follows monthly brackets (10% to 50%) minus your credit points. National Insurance and health tax apply a reduced rate up to about ₪7,703 and a full rate above it, up to a ₪51,910 ceiling. The employee pension contribution (commonly 6%) also comes out of net.
Credit points
Each credit point is worth ₪242/month (2026) and reduces tax directly. A resident man gets 2.25 points, a woman 2.75. Additional points exist for children, new immigrants, discharged soldiers and more: check your full entitlement.
What the calculator excludes
Tax benefits on pension and keren-hishtalmut deposits, overtime and one-time payments, company-car value and benefits, multi-employer tax coordination, and special credit points. In these cases your actual net will differ.

FAQ
Why does my payslip net differ from the calculator?
A real payslip includes items the calculator does not cover: pension tax benefits, keren hishtalmut, benefit values, extra credit points and tax coordination. The calculator gives an order of magnitude from the basic parameters.
How many credit points am I entitled to?
Base: 2.25 for a resident man, 2.75 for a woman. Additional points are granted for children, new immigrants, discharged soldiers, academic degrees and more: the full list is on Kol-Zchut.
